Carol Golden: I wanted to share my favorite animal quilt that I made several years ago. I used all Kaffe fabrics, my favorites.
The animal patterns were part of a Kim McLean pattern called, The Village Quilt. It is all needle turned applique. I had such fun choosing the fabrics for each animal. I did simple machine quilting on it.
Mary Ann Hagan: I love making bed quilts but I equally love fabric art quilted wall hangings. I made a fabric portrait of a friend's German Shepard which won Best of Show at this year's Silver Dollar Fair. I am currently working on this portrait of my two Yorkies that I dearly miss. Of course it's not finished. When I begin feeling sad I have to take a step back and work on it at another time.
Lynda Metseff: Here’s my latest quilt with animals, I thought this was definitely an adult kid’s quilt!
Susan Armington: I was given the panel for this quilt by a friend whose 3 year old grandson loves the Brown Bear book. She asked if I could just add a backing and a little quilting. I decided it needed to be bigger so added the bear paw blocks and some counted cross-stitch words so he could learn to recognize words. The quilt was a big hit with the little guy and his family. Bear paw additions and backing was from Honey Run!

Annette Guffy: This is the quilt I made for my granddaughter. I used beautiful batiks and stitched faces on each kitty. I cute cat fabric for the backing. When I made this quilt my granddaughter did not have a kitty, but now she does. She does love to snuggle under it when she stays with Mimi and grandpa!
Rhonda Lawrence:
Pic 1: This one I made for my eldest daughter when she was married in Hawaii. It was lost in the Camp Fire.
Pic 2: I made this wall quilt for my daughter and son-in-law because they had lived in Alaska for 11 years. They moved to Paradise and lost the quilt in the Camp Fire. I had to cut this fish pattern by hand I added clear beads to look like bubbles (not visible) I plan on making them another, but the fish is pre-cut
