Skill Builders: Simple Flying Geese & Sashings
This table runner is created using a simple technique for flying geese. Narrow sashings add detail to the "packages" and define the areas within the borders. Perfect for birthdays or Christmas, it can be made with scraps or coordinating yardage.

| Instructor Bio: | Patti Taylor is an avid quilter, having many years of experience in various fiber and fabric arts. She learned to sew on her mother's Singer Featherweight--which she still has-- at the age of 9, eventually making most of her own clothes through high school and college, as well as learning needlepoint, cross stitch and tatting. She made her 1st quilt in 1979 but didn't really get involved with the hobby until 1992--and it's been non-stop ever since! Patti has taught sewing and quilting to various age levels from Mini-4H to adults in both small and large group settings including 10 years teaching high school Home Ec. |
