Beginning Sewing
Learn how to operate your machine and do basic straight stitching & seams. In class, you will learn about thread, needles, parts of the machine & basic operation of your machine. You will also learn how to make a small sewing pouch for your sewing tools (materials provided by the instructor).

Instructor Bio: | Patti Taylor is an avid quilter, having many years of experience in various fiber and fabric arts. She learned to sew on her mother's Singer Featherweight--which she still has-- at the age of 9, eventually making most of her own clothes through high school and college, as well as learning needlepoint, cross stitch and tatting. She made her 1st quilt in 1979 but didn't really get involved with the hobby until 1992--and it's been non-stop ever since! Patti has taught sewing and quilting to various age levels from Mini-4H to adults in both small and large group settings including 10 years teaching high school Home Ec. |
