Class Policy
Before signing up for class, please check your schedule and read our class policy carefully. To be fair to our teachers and other students we must remain firm on our registration and cancellation policies.
- Full payment of fee at time of registration.
- You must make cancellations at least 3 days prior to class and you will be issued store credit provided your cancellation does not reduce class participation below minimum.
- Cathy's Sew & Vac and our guest teachers reserve the right to cancel 72 hours prior to any class if participation level is below minimum.
- Minimum number of students is usually three students but may vary by teacher and store location.
- We will issue a full refund for any class we cancel.
Supply Fee/Reservation Fee
On all Cathy's Sew & Vac Machine Mastery classes, there is a $10 fee that includes a reservation deposit and the class supplies. If you sign up for the class but do not show up for the class, the $10 fee will not be refunded. Also, if you do not cancel the class within the guidelines set forth in the class policy, the fee is not refundable.

Our policy is simple. We respect your privacy and will not give out any information given to us through our website, email, over the phone or in person.
We will never lend, sell or rent mailing lists of our customers, this way you never have to worry that your name, address, phone number or any other confidental information would ever be used outside of our business.

Availability
We ship most of our items from our warehouse in Chico, CA. Products which we do not stock in our warehouse will be ordered through our vendors and will take extra time before it is shipped.
Carriers
We ship most of our packages via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Please make sure that you give us an accurate street address that can be delivered to.
Tracking Information
We can provide our customers with tracking information of the product being shipped upon request.
Freight Information
All industrial machines with table, stand, and motor and many of our cabinets are shipped via freight truck. These shipments cannot be expedited.
International Orders
We are happy to ship internationally to Canada and Mexico. If the address you provide is recognized by the UPS system, you will be provided with a shipping quote according to commercial carrier rate tables in the United States. If the shipping quote returns zero, then we will contact you with a shipping quote as soon as we manually calculate one for you. We, at CathysSewandVac.com, do not know or have any control over customs, duty, brokerage fees, or any other additional fees that will be added by government agencies at time of delivery. We have no way of knowing what governments charge citizens of other countries beyond the actual shipping charges that we collect on our own invoices according to current rate tables.

All vacuum cleaners and sewing machines purchased from Cathy's Sew & Vac are covered by our 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. In the event you are not satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of receiving your shipment, you can return it to us.
- Returns must be shipped at the customers' own expense.
- You must Contact Us within 30 days of receipt of your shipment to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning your product. There will be an additional 10% charge for any product returned without an RMA.
- You will be charged a 15% restocking fee for all returned items.
- Vacuums and Sewing machines must be returned in like-new condition with original packaging, documents and accessories.
- Once the product is received and evaluated by Cathy's Sew & Vac, we will credit your account within 3 business days.
- If you have any questions about this policy, please Contact Us and we will be happy to discuss it with you!
- Bags, belts, filters, and accessories are excluded from this guarantee.
30 Day Performance Guarantee:
If your product becomes defective (not due to misuse) within the first 30 days of use (broken belts not included) you have the following options:
- You can Contact Us and we will try to determine what the problem is. We may be able to send you out a part if the problem can be easily fixed. We can also direct you to the nearest Warranty Station if this is convenient for you.
- You can request that the product be picked up and shipped back directly to us at no cost to you.
- We can immediately ship out a replacement to you.
- You can request an in-store credit. This credit can be immediately used for any products found on Cathy's Sew & Vac Online.
- You can request your Full Money Back and we will credit your credit card for the full cost of the purchase including all shipping and taxes paid.

- If you experience a problem anytime during the warranty period on your purchase from CathysSewandVac.com, please Contact Us.
- We can often determine the problem over the phone to get your machine back in running order.
- We can help you locate your nearest warranty repair facility.
- We can coordinate with the manufacturer to make sure your warranty issue is resolved properly.
- We can take care of any warranty issue in our own facilities; however, if we are not your closest warranty facility shipping costs would apply after the initial 30 day period.
