Color Sense with Annie Smith

Annie Smith is a pattern designer, quilt instructor, has been published in Quilter's Home Magazine, has won Best of Show at the California State Fair for Crazy Quilting and has published her own book on Applique. This is the first time we have had Annie teach at Honey Run Quilters although she did present a workshop through Annie's Star Quilt Guild and taught at the North State Quilt Jamboree in 2015. We are very excited to have her teaching her Color Sense Class because quilters often struggle making fabric choices when planning a quilt. In this 2 day class, learn exactly what draws the eye to interesting block patterns in quilts to give them life. The 1st day is "Building Your Color Sense," a no-sew, hands on session to learn and apply design rules for choosing your fabrics and to enhance your own fabric intuition.
Day 2, you will compose an eye-popping quilt, "Shadows and Light" using a single block pattern that changes design based on where you place your fabrics. Annie is a fabulous teacher and you will enjoy this class! This is a great class that you will not want to miss out on and space is limited so sign up soon!

The supply list will be available with a paid class registration.  We offer a 20% discount off class fabrics, notions and supplies.
